More MacBook Air rumors have been released. The latest ones seem to get even more interesting, too. According to some reports, the 2016 Apple Macbook Air and Macbook Pro just might come out solar-powered.
If reports are true, gone are the days when working will be hampered because of battery drainage or left battery charger. According to Youth Health mag, there is a big possibility that both Macbook Air and Macbook Pro 2016 will be powered by solar energy. The report added that this is highly feasible because Apple already acquired a solar-related patent, and is just observing which of its notebook and laptop lines will be using this patented technology.
Apart from this exciting rumor, there are also reports saying the iPad Air line will be released in both 13 and 15-inch models. There are also some that speculated a 12-inch variant is becoming available.
Naturally, everything remains a speculation until confirmed by the company itself. To wait for Apple to either deny or confirm is rather a fruitless thought because the company rarely pay attention to these rumors and instead, preferring instead to make sure to surprise people on the products' announcement dates.
Even if there are speculations that Macbook Air line will be scrapped, following the release of the Apple Macbook with Retina display the previous year, rumors of MacBook Air 2016 continue to circulate along that of rumors on the Macbook Pro. Also, many are still purchasing the iPad Air, considering it's significantly lower price point compared to the newer Macbook models.
On the other hand, the highly anticipated MacBook Pro 2016, which was designed to be released during the Christmas holidays but delayed, may be unveiled now on an upcoming March event. BreatheCast reported that the laptop model might be announced at the same time as the iPad 3. Similar to the Macbook Pro, the iPad 3 has already been in development for quite a period and was set to be launched last year. It did not happen to give the spotlight to the iPad Pro.
The report also stated that the laptop was not released last year so that it will not compete with other Apple products like the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and the iPad Pro. The MacBook Pro and iPad 3 might be launched in an event called the "Spring Forward," which will start this March 9. According to MacRumors, only the 13-inch version will be unveiled. The 15-inch version might be announced on March 19.
