Fans of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" now has a new clip to enjoy. Director Zack Snyder released the new teaser when he appeared on the talk show of Conan O'Brien. The director also showered fans with new details of the highly anticipated movie.
The new teaser lasted just 45 seconds but can already drum up a certain level of excitement. The teaser revisits a scene already showed before, where Superman and Batman can be seen in a confrontation. The scene showed Superman standing on the hood of an already destroyed Batmobile then ripping the car windshield. This time, though, Superman talks.
He told Batman "Next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it. The bat is dead. Buried. Consider this mercy." If Superman expected Batman to show fear, he failed. Instead, Batman responded, "Tell me, do you bleed? You will."
Snyder then proceeded to give the fans some new details for the movie. He talked about the all-new Batmobile that will be used by the caped hero. "You've seen the Chris Nolan Batman movies, and The Tumbler is a repurposed military vehicle ... [but] the cool thing about our Batmobile is it's purpose-built by Bruce Wayne to be the Batmobile," he said. The director shared that fans will indeed notice that the new mobile will be more "bat-like " or "battier."
Rumors of the upcoming movie are escalating. It remains to be seen if half of these even appear in the movie. For instance, Latino Review reported that the superheroes will not only have Lex Luthor and Doomsday to fight with. They might also contend with a new supervillain, who avid comic readers will certainly know - Bizarro. This is a clone of Superman Lex Luthor tried to create but failed. Latino Review added that for the clone to be created, Lex might steal some DNA from Superman or even strategize something evil up so that Batman will be the one to get this DNA for him.
Interestingly, the Lex Luthor that everyone knows and hates in the comics and even in shows will not be the Lex Luthor he is for "Batman V. Superman," at least on appearance. For one, he will have hair this time, LA Times reports. People are so accustomed to having a bald Lex Luthor that this is certainly a surprise. According to Jesse Eisenberg, who would play this complex character, this difference is more than welcome. "When you're doing a movie like this and playing a character that's already been played, the further away it is from those previous incarnations the better," Eisenberg said. "Because chances are, especially with a guy like Gene Hackman or Kevin Spacey, you're not going to get favorably compared."
