The waiting for more details on GTA 6 is getting unbearable. Here is a roundup of what is currently known about GTA 6 - things fans can expect in the next title, the release date, the maps, and so much more.

For the title, news reports have not revealed that the game would not be called simply "Grand Theft Auto 6." Because the game is not quite far from being released, there could be changes down the road.

One interesting rumor is that the setting of the game would include multiple cities. Vice City and San Andreas have been named by some reports. It is expected that when GTA 6 is released for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, more cities could be added to the game. Moreover, Rockstar likes the idea that players can seamlessly travel through different areas. According to Leslie Benzies, the head of Rockstar North, "Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas."

Some reports also revealed the possible protagonists of the game. Up until now, the franchise has been featuring a male protagonist in the main story. If the developers would listen to customer feedback, then there is a high chance that GTA 6 will feature a female protagonist. Most fans have been clamoring for a female protagonist, Neurogadget reports.

The most important rumor on GTA 6 is on its release date. While there have not been any confirmations by Rockstar that they are developing the game already, some speculated that the game would be in fans' consoles by 2018. It is also expected that there would be PC version after two years, in 2020.

If the developers would listen to fans, bigger maps may be integrated into the game. Most GTA fans are now requesting for bigger maps that can allow them to roam without any limitations. In particular, they want an integrated map, wherein all the previous maps can be presented along with the new ones. Neurogadget claims that one drawback with this request is that these bigger maps can be difficult to do, so if developers would push through with such, GTA 6 might be released later than

Another titbit is that GTA 6 might not be available to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gamers anymore. This game might be exclusively for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles.
