Start to Finish, the midseason finale of The Walking Dead, premiered last Sunday and viewers have been quick to give their reactions, especially with the zombie-related death of one major character.
The Wrap reports that this season's sacrificial lamb is no other than Deanna played by Tovah Feldshuh.
Deanna's death came about from a very unpromising situation: prior to the recent finale, the wall that was keeping the mob of zombies away from the Alexandrians had already crumbled and given way to the walkers. Now they had breached the barrier and were going for every last breathing human they could get their hands on.
During the scuffle and the struggle that ensued in the episode, Deanna incurred a major wound in the leg which turned out to be from a zombie bite. Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) noticed that the nature of the wound was a bite mark while they were cleaning it. Knowing that this moment marked her end, Deanna responds with "Well, shit."
One of the highlights of the episode also involves a highly dramatic moment between Rick and Deanna as Deanna makes her final wishes known, knowing that there was no hope for her to get out of the situation alive and well. Deanna instructs Rick not to abandon the people of Alexandria and to lead them forward when she is gone.
The episode ends with Deanna using her last bullets to shoot down the walkers while the others escape while Rick, Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Michonne hide themselves under walker entrails in order to reach Alexandria's armory undetected.

As soon as the mass of zombies flooded, Rick warned the people to keep inside their houses. It was also revealed that it was Eugene (Josh McDermitt) was the one who said "Help" over the radio in Episode 6.
Unfortunately for Ron (Austin Abrams) and Carl (Chandler Riggs), they get into a fight and creates such a ruckus as to attract the walkers. Rick saves them just in time, and Carl ends up confronting Ron when they are left to themselves.
Another argument is taking place elsewhere, though this time it is between Carol (Melissa McBride)and Morgan (Lennie James) who have opposing views on what to do with the captured Wolf from episode two. Carol still stands by her original belief that the Wolf should be killed while Morgan thinks they should be better than the killing enemies they so detest.
The Walking Dead Season 6 resumes on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.
