4th Impact made it to "X Factor UK" top 5. The girl has huge fan bases, so even they received criticisms from "X-Factor" judge Simon Cowell after they performed Christina Aguillera's hit "Ain't Not Other Man," Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's four pocket rockets were safe from being eliminated.
The Filipino girl band was second to be called safe onstage after Lauren Murray. Other finalists who are called safe are Che Chesterman, Reggie N Bollie, and Louisa Johnson.
In week four elimination, Ché Chesterman and Anton Stephans were in the bottom two. Chesterman sang Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You," while Stephans sang Bonnie Rait classic "I Can't Make You Love Me." After the sing-off, the judges decided to vote off Stephans from the competition because he got lowest votes.
According to IB Times, in week three, Stephans' slammed "X-Factor Judge Nick Grimshaw after the judge commented about his performance."I just wasn't feeling that," Grimshaw said. "That wasn't the best track for you. It's a very emotional song and it felt cold. It seemed fake," he added.
Stephens defended himself in a very emotional reply. "'Excuse me, but this is all real. The set and the outfit might be fake, but I am real," Stephans said.
"That's fine, but I didn't say you were fake - I said I wasn't feeling it. There's no need to be aggressive," Nick replied, with a disgruntled voice.
As the hosts called the names of contestants who were safe from being eliminated, some viewers notice a short video. One of the 4th Impact members tried to hug Lauren Murray, however, Murray seemed pushed out the arm of the 4th Impact member.
The video went viral and some netizens accused Murray for being rude to one of the 4th Impact members, and the fans of the girl band were not pleased after seeing Murray brush off the hand of one of the members.
As the tension grows on Twitter, 4th Impact released a video on Twitter. In the video, Murray was there and the rest of the top five finalists. The girl band asked their fans to stop calling out Murray because they're actually good friends, and they love Lauren.
