No Man's Sky, the biggest video game title to be ever released with a massive 18 quintillion worlds, is finally given a release date in June 2016 at the Paris Games week on PlayStation 4 and PC. The highly-anticipated No Man's Sky is set to be released as a timed exclusive by Sony for PlayStation 4 (PS4) game console (Sony is also treating No Man's Sky as a first party exclusive.
The gaming community has been waiting for the release of Man's Sky as the game has generated too much hype since its development was first announced. But game developer Hello Games has been mum on the delay of the unveiling.
However, a report by Yibada said the delay in the PS4 release was caused by some technical issues encountered by the developers. Hello Games has also reportedly teased a possible run-in of players in the Massive Universe.
This report was collaborated in a separate report by PlayStationLifeStyle, which said that the development of the space exploration game's PC version is also facing some trouble because of technical issues as well.
The report added that No Man's Sky demo presented during the E3 2015 was the PC version and not the PS4, which hints of a possible proof that No Man's Sky's PS4 version will certainly be delayed.
Hello Games' programmer Sean Murray was also being modest when he recently told fans of No Man's Sky to lower their expectations with the final version of the game and advised them to be more realistic when the space exploration game is finally released. Design & Trend quoted Murray as saying that he the word "hype" as "excitement that will ultimately end in hurt."
Still, there are enough element in No Man's Sky to keep gamers interested. It has 18 quintillion worlds that even if you discover one planet every second, it will literally take you 584 billion years to visit each one of them, simply for a second, said Day Herald.
It is also interesting to note that not all the planets in the massive No Man's Sky universe are friendly. So be very cautious when you visit each planets as there is a potential you might encounter a hostile world.
Another "No Man's Sky" rumor is that the game could possibly have a virtual reality gameplay during its release next year since the game will arrive the same time as the PlayStation VR headset /Project Morpheus gear.
