Parents the world over have reason to be afraid. While children have not stopped belting out the tune "Let it Go" for a good many years, especially when the Christmas and winter seasons come round, the new generation of children will continue the annual tradition in similar fashion when 2018 sees the second installment of Frozen delighting a new set of young fans everywhere.
i-Digital Times reports that Disney is working hard to simulate the magic that the first movie produced when it first came out in 2013. By the time the sequel comes out, its original fans would have grown up into teenagers who will be reintroducing both the original film and the sequel to their younger siblings.
Some plot spoilers for the new film: more insight will be given regarding Elsa's (Idina Menzel) childhood, more details surrounding the tragedy of Elsa and Anna's parents, and how Elsa got her powers.
Furthermore, Elsa will not be the cold, reserved, party pooper that she once was in the original movie. She will be more fun, warmer, and a better sister to younger Anna.
Elsa's evolution is already quite evident in a few of the film franchise's earlier short features, such as Anna's birthday surprise, which was rolled out with Cinderella in 2015, starring Cate Blanchett, Lily James, and Richard Madden. The American romantic fantasy was directed by Kenneth Branagh for Walt Disney Pictures.
The other spoiler is that although Elsa's ice-cold silver-blue gown will always go down as one of the most iconic Disney dresses that little girls will always choose for every special costume season, it won't be the only gown that Elsa will ever wear. She will have a new one, and how awesome it will be is something we'll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, the Vine Report dispels rumors that Anna (Kristen Bell) could have any superpower strength. Some people may think she has powers just like her sister. However co-director Chris Buck insists that "her superpower is love."
Contrary to earlier spoilers, other rumors from this report seem to suggest that will Elsa be a lesbian (?) and that Anna will take a villainous role. This doesn't seem to mix well with earlier reports that Elsa will finally have a real boyfriend in the new film. The Telegraph suggested that Olaf will have a girlfriend.
Obviously the unclear reports are proof that the plot details are still in a muck and are under wraps. One thing's for sure; speculations will never end, not until the film comes out.
To fuel the Frozen fever, Westjet Airlines, a Canadian courier painted their Boeing 737 with an Anna, Elsa, and Olaf design.
