All the Dub Nation is ready for the opening game of the 2015-2016 NBA Regular Season as the Golden State Warriors takes on the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oracle Arena

The Warriors is coming fresh from its first NBA Championship in 30 years and considers the talent-laden Pelicans a threat to its back-to-back NBA title campaign. The Pelicans has dropped 14 of the last 15 meetings against the Warriors, including seven straight at the Oracle Arena.

In the Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans game Tuesday night, 2014-2015 NBA MVP Stephen Curry is again expected to lift his team. Curry was sixth in the league in scoring with 23.8 points per game, third in 3-point shooting at 44.3 percent and first in foul shooting at 91.4 percent. He teamed up with Klay Thompson (43.9 percent on 3-pointers) to form the "Splash Brothers," one of the most lethal shooting backcourts in NBA history.

Interestingly, former Warriors assistant coach Alvin Gentry, 61, will now be calling the shots for the Pelicans after replacing Monty Williams.

"It's gonna be a little bit different in that these are people that we did something special with and together, so you have a closeness there, but after this thing is over, we have to find a way to compete and beat these guys, which is not going to be easy," Gentry said.

He'll be up against Luke Walton, who will serve as Golden State's interim coach with Steve Kerr needing to rest his surgically repaired back. Kerr will be present for the ring ceremony.

"It's going to be awesome," Walton said. "I think it's great that he's (Gentry) going to be out there with us when we get our rings. He obviously is a big part of what we did last year. It's always fun battling friends and people that you know."

According to the Warriors' web site, here are four reasons to watch the game on opening night.

1. The Banner Unveiling

Prior to the game's tipoff, the Warriors will formally unveil the 2014-15 NBA Championship banner as part of the pregame festivities. The banner will forever symbolize the teamwork, camaraderie and overall excellence that brought home the franchise's fourth-ever NBA title.

2. The Ring Ceremony

If the banner unveiling isn't enough, there's also the bling! NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will be on hand, and along with Warriors owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber, will distribute diamond-clad Championship rings, crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills, to last season's players and coaches.

3. Being Back on Warriors Ground

Yes, the Warriors have had three home games this preseason, two at Oracle Arena, and all of them have drawn sellout crowds. But let's be honest, the atmosphere on Warriors Ground is so much more lively when the results actually matter. That buzz co-created by the players and the best fans in the NBA, that excitement, that electricity, that high-five to the complete stranger next to you that's no longer a stranger ... that's what Warriors Ground is all about.

4. Free T-Shirt

It's a proven fact that goes back hundreds of years - everybody loves a free T-shirt. And for those lucky enough to attend Opening Night on Warriors Ground on Tuesday, they'll all receive one of these fancy tops pictured below, courtesy of our friends at City National Bank. Nearly 20,000 fans cheering at the top of their lungs while sporting this commemorative championship T-shirt ... yes, that's an environment you'll want to be part of.
