So much has been written about the new 2016 Honda Civic, mostly positive, with its revolutionary design and the first Honda vehicle with a turbocharged gasoline engine.
Honda has been hyping the release of the next generation 2016 Honda Civic offering personalized accessories and updates, claiming that the new edition is the best available sedan in the market. Honda has also been encouraging the motoring community to test drive the new 2016 Honda Civic and document their experience by capturing it on camera to share via social media.
Indeed, Honda wanted to impress its fans with the new Honda Civic, and the Japanese car maker did not fail. The 2016 Honda Civic is sporting a new exterior that is not only good looking than the previous models but also comes with upgrades and improvements under the hood and on the inside as well, AutooMobile reported.
Some of the car enthusiasts who participated in the new Honda Civic Touring all came to the same conclusion and agreed with what the consumers have been saying: the new 2016 Honda Civic is a car that every car guy will want to own and drive.
The 2016 Honda Civic comes with two new four-cylinder engine options. One powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter and a turbocharged 1.5-liter capable of producing 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft. of torque, reported Motoring Crunch. Pushing its limit, the new generation Civic is capable of delivering full torque output starting at 1,800 rpm to a maximum of 5,500 rpm horsepower. That's a lot of power for a sedan.
Motoring Crunch added, "Honda has taken away the two-screen idiom for the optional seven-inch Display Audio system that is a touchscreen. You still need to bear with the unresponsive volume control on the head unit. The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, on the other hand, are good to go.
"The interior of the car offers a smooth feeling control, comfortable seats, and solid shutting door. The exterior styling which comes with the heavy chrome grille, and the slight hunch of the rear view is unfortunately not really appealing to the eyes."
But what color will be the most popular? The 2016 Honda Civic comes in different hues, including the dark grey, red, white, blue and the last one Burgundy Night Pearl.
The much-anticipated 2016 Civic sedan was unveiled on October 19 at the New York Auto Show, said Civic.com. What's more interesting, the new Honda Civic is priced reasonably starting at $18,680 for its base model, only $190 higher than the 2015 version.
