The producers of the successful and controversial social experiment reality TV series Married at First Sight are literally taking the matters into their own hands after the first two seasons of the show resulted to high incidence of divorce amongst the married couples.

Kinetic Content, the production company of Married at First Sight and FYI network want to change the perception that the reality TV show is adding to the growing number of divorce incidence in the U.S., Master Herald said.

Moralists have pointed out that of the six marriages produced by Married at First Sight's first two season, four couples have already divorced with only two marriages still intact. The low batting average of the show in keeping a union, there were early reports that Season 3 of Married at First Sight will be cancelled.

To inject positive vibe into the show, Kinetic and FYI network said the next season of Married at First Sight will focus on two couples from the first season who will document the first year of their respective marriages and highlight how they are coping up with the challenges of married life and how they managed to keep their union strong.

With the changes, Married at First Sight is seen to become a different new reality TV show, the report added. The next season will be touching more on married life instead of the traditional matchmaking that was the focal point of seasons 1 and 2, reported People.

Expect season 3 Married at First Sight to welcome back couples Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner and Courtney Hendrix and Jason Carrion. Some season spoilers indicated that Jamie and Doug will document the financial struggle of their marriage, including Doug's reported overdependence on his parents, reported Movie News Guide.

"Initially Doug and I were a bit hesitant for another show - but we were at a point in our relationship where we really NEEDED help. We went through (and are still going through) a lot of hard stuff and didn't know where to turn. I'm a bit dreading watching it back and re-living it all just because it's been so tough," Otis told the magazine.

She continued, "Someone once said to me, "Marriage isn't work. It's love, and if you love someone, it shouldn't be work. I love Doug, and it is a lot of work." For Doug's part, he will confide to a friend that he feels like he is the only one working on the relationship.

However, Courtney and Jason's marriage are growing stronger, despite the popular firefighter Jason getting plenty of attention from other women that sometimes takes on Courtney's nerves. Thanks to Jason's dedication to keep their marriage work, the Courtney's jealousy is often set aside. Jason even commented that there is nothing that is going to break apart his marriage to Courtney.

Relationship experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Joseph Cilona, and Dr. Logan Levkoff will also be guiding the couples in season 3 of Married at First Sight and guide them through their journey, the report added.
