Complimentary free games for Xbox Live Game subscribers include a three AAA-titles and one indie gems in the month of September. Meanwhile, the October 2015 list will likely be announced in two weeks.

Starting September 1 thru 15, independent game title Deer God is available for Xbox One subscribers. This side-scrolling title has players taking on the role of a deer, who journeys across a changing landscape. Vistas include forests, deserts and cities.
In the same time frame, Xbox 360 subscribers will get to play Battlestations: Pacific, an arcade-style aviation simulator set in World War II. Players will get to play as either the Americans of Japanese.
The estimated retail value for Deer God is $14.99, while Battlestations: Pacific's estimated selling price is set at $24.99.

After the first half of the month, two more free games will be made available.
Xbox One subscribers will get to play Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, whose ERP is $29.99. The videogame updates the 2013 reboot to include next-gen graphics. Those who have already played the first game can play it again, but in gorgeously re-rendered eye-candy.
For Xbox 360 players, there will be Crysis 3, which has a current ERP of $19.99. The third installment in the Crysis series has gamers taking on the role of former spec-ops soldier, Prophet, as he battles both the nefarious CELL Corporation and Ceph alien invaders. The game will be available until the end of September.
When Will October 2015 List be Available
Presently, it is too early to know when the October 2015 free games list for the Xbox Live Games with Gold's program will be available. This information is usually confirmed almost to the end of each month. Major Nelson is a great source, as they are usually the first to get free games announcement. Until then, subscribers will need to wait patiently for more updates from Microsoft.
Those interested in getting free games thru Xbox Live Games with Gold will first need to pay subscription. The free games list is continually updated each month. A similar program for Sony PlayStation owners is available through PlayStation Plus.
