The Duggar's are showing to the public that the 19 Kids And Counting Family are sticking with each other through thick and thin.
On Sunday, Anna Duggar, the wife of embattled Josh, made her first public appearance since her husband's infidelity and pornography addiction, by attending the wedding of Josh's cousin Amy Duggar to Dillon King. Anna is accompanied by her in-laws Jim Bob and Michelle and the rest of the Duggar clan, reported PEOPLE magazine.
Amy told PEOPLE, "I saw her [Anna] before the ceremony and just gave her the biggest hug ever. That's when I got the most emotional. She told me to have just an amazing day."
Amy exchanged vows with Dillon on Sunday at the Horton Farms near Bentonville, Arkansas on Sunday (Sept. 6). Josh and Anna's oldest daughter, five-year-old Mackynzie, served as flower girl during the ceremonies.
Not surprisingly, Josh did not attend the wedding as he is currently at Reformer's Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois, a faith-based rehab center, for his treatment on his addiction to pornography and his penchant for infidelity.
The public appearance of Anna came days after Josh's sister, 22-year-old Jessa took on to social media to publicly criticize her brother as his latest cheating scandal engulfed the conservative Duggar family.
Jessa posted on her Facebook and Instagram accounts a note taking side with her father-in-law, Michael Sewald, who published a blog entitled, Grief, Shame, and taking the LORD's name in Vain, which provides a scathing attack against the 27-year-old Josh.
"Go to seewalds.com and read the post on the Ashley Madison scandal," Jessa tweeted and wrote Tuesday, as she encourages her followers to read Michael's blog in a clear sign she was trying to distance herself from her disgraced older brother.
Her husband, 20-year-old Ben Seewald, re-tweeted Jessa's post to encourage other people to read his father's essay.
Amy also agrees with Jessa, "I agree 100 percent with what Mr. Seewald said in his blog. We're still shocked and furious."
Duggar, an aspiring country singer, and King tied the knots after being engaged for just over two months into their relationship, said TV Guide.
Amy and King, both 28, started dating in November 2014, and announced their engagement via Instagram on July 13 this year.
"I'm so happy to announce...WE ARE ENGAGED!!!" she shared with her fans alongside a sweet photo of her ring-clad hand holding gently onto her fiance's arm. "He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he's loyal, he's patient, he's my best friend! Of course I said yes!! I love you so much!"
And probably to escape from her famous or now infamous family name, Amy said she would be legally changing her name to King after the wedding.
Reports Us magazine, "I'm so excited to take his last name, which I heard is trending [on Twitter] right now, that I'm ready to change my last name, which is the funniest thing, but I mean it's true. "I think that's going to be a really awesome feeling."
