According to News.com, the latest iPod Touch is the cheapest iOS device available in the market with prices depending on the internal storage capacity. The basic 16GB version costs $199, while the 32GB version sells for $249. The retail value for the 64GB version is $299, and the largest 128GB version is selling for $399.
However, the newest iPod Touch is very lightweight at 88 grams. It is expected to be popular, especially those with smaller hands who prefer a slimmer device for playing games and music. The device will easily fit into your hand and slip into your pocket while connecting to a wireless headphones.
The 6th generation iPod is also sporting a faster processor that its predecessors, with its internal hardware said to be similar with the iPhone 6 but at a lesser cost. The new iPod is powered by an A8 processor rated at 1.12 GHz and M8 motion coprocessor that are also found on Apple's flagship smartphones and the latest iPhones.
The camera is also significantly improved, with an eight-megapixel resolution and an advanced iSight and FaceTime HD Camera that gives the iPod the the ability to capture slow-motion video. However, the iPod's camera is not as advanced as the iPhone 6 camera.
