He threw his support for Josh Dugar and the Duggar family when news of the molestation report that exposed Josh's molested five minors including her two sisters in March 2002 when he was still a teenager.
Michael Seewald, the father of Jessa's husband, Ben, said in May that the Duggar family have been unfairly victimized by the scandal and that Josh has completely repented on his sins and has been trying to live a true Christian life.
But in a recent blog entitled, Grief, Shame, And Taking The LORD's Name In Vain, Michael Seewald blasted former 19 Kids and Counting star for the shame he had brought on his family. For living sinful life and even accused him of blasphemy. He condemned Josh for living a wicked lifestyle.
"He claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise," he spoke of Josh Duggar in the blog. "It distresses me to say that Josh Duggar's greatest sin is a byproduct of the sum total of his secretly sinful lifestyle. That is, that by his hypocrisy, he blasphemed the name of God."
"With the name of God on his lips he lived a covert and extensive lifestyle of evil," Michael went on to say. "While proudly saying things like, 'Our family is like the epitome of conservative values,' he was looking at porn and soliciting affairs. He took a job at the Family Research Council that exists to promote the traditional family, all the while undermining his own family by violating his marriage covenant. He flourished in the fame of his family and the success of their television show, all the while betraying their trust and Christian values."
He said Josh was living a double life that was very un-Christian.
Michael further wrote, "The thing that is so hurtful is that he was a loud voice endorsing Christian ethics and he has been shown to be a fraud. I am profoundly grieved that he attained such a platform only to bring shame on God's holy name and the Christian faith."
He said, "Josh was a pretender. True Christians fail often, but their lives are truly being conformed to the image of Christ. Do not look at Josh and justify your own sins by dismissing the reality of genuine faith and a holy God."
Josh's sister Jessa is married to Michael Seewald's son Ben. Jessa and Ben are expecting their first child on November 1, coinciding their first wedding anniversary.
Last week, Daniel Keller, the older brother of Anna Duggar, wife of Josh Duggar, said he wants her sister out of the relationship and even vowed to pay for her expenses, including raising her kids, if she leaves Josh and move with him.
Keller said in a series of comments posted on Jessa Sewald's' Facebook account with a picture of the Bible verse on Sunday, "I have told her I would pay for her to move out here w me and pay for her kidz. I don't think josh will see that this is a big deal and be truly broken till that happens. I told her I would go get her and her children stay w me. She said she's staying where she's at. But I won't stop trying to get that pig out of our family."
Daniel's comments earned the admiration of some of the commenters who even volunteered to donate to a fund should Anna finally decides to leave her husband. The commenters said it was un-Christian for Josh to treat her wife the way he does.
Daniel said in his comments that over the last few days, he has been contemplating on the turn of events involving Josh and the Duggar family. He said that while he admits the Duggar family is a devout Christian, he still wants her sister to file for divorce. He added that he "sick to my stomach for her for last few days," thinking about the latest controversy involving his famous brother-in-law.
