The Fast & Furious is one of the most successful franchises in movie history. Even before the Fast & Furious 7 was shown in theaters, there were already strong clamor to do an eight installment.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight during a break while playing Call of Duty Black Ops III, Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Leticia "Letty" Ortiz Toretto, the wife of Dominic "Dom" Toretto (Vin Diesel), shared her wish list for the upcoming Fast & Furious 8, including the possible appearance of Angelina Jolie as one of the heroin.
"That would be sexy. We've definitely got to bring up the ante, man. Whoever it is -- it has to be a powerful presence that hasn't been seen before."
And should Mrs. Brad Pete agrees to appear in the Fast & Furious franchise, it would be cool if she will team up with the Toretto team as Rodriguez admits she is tired of fighting with fighting against her female co-star in the franchise.
She said it would be cool if the girl's role evolve and would stop hitting and fighting each other but instead working together to gang up on other people.
Rodriguez also hinted that the next Fast & Furious installment will be set in New York City, which she said would provide a fresh perspective into the movie. Filming in New York would make the plot interesting as they could add scenes involving motorcycle crews such as the Hell's Angels.
Writers could also incorporate scenes that features iconic places in the city, particularly the Yankee Stadium and even suggested have festival or cross country runs. Whatever, Rodriguez said the eight installment of the successful franchise will present new ideas.
She went further, "Whatever the storyline is, it needs to be relevant. I think there's only so many times that you can keep repeating history. What happened with Fast 7, I don't want to say it's a fluke, but people came out of the woodwork to show love for Paul, and that's something you're not going to have in the equation with the next one. Whatever it is that they cook up needs to touch the hearts and souls of people."
Meanwhile, Ludacris, who portrays Tej in the movie, has confirmed that he would be reprising his role in Fast & Furious 8 and that a script for the project is currently in the works, reported Parent Herald. He added that filming for the next Fast & Furious will begin next year for its official release date in 2017.
He added that he was excited to do another Fast & Furious movie.
Fast and Furious 8 is set to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
