Ben Seewald, the husband of "19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa Seewald, recently offered up some dating advice to single women, urging them to be "careful" of men who refuse to commit to a serious relationship.
Seewald, 20, shared his thoughts in a recent Instagram post: "Ladies...watch out for dudes that want to date you, but have no intention whatsoever of any serious relationship. A lot of guys want to enjoy you and play with your heart and emotions with no commitment or responsibility on their part. They're thinking 'Why do I need to commit? I'm getting what I want...and when I get tired of her I'll just move on to the next girl I can use.' Just be careful girls. Don't give away your heart or your body to someone who isn't prepared to cherish you for the long haul."
Jessa and Ben were married in a big wedding ceremony back on Nov. 1, after dating for a year. Prior to their marriage, the couple engaged in a traditional form of dating known as "courting." Rules included no kissing or physical contact, except for hand-holding and side hugs and chaperoned dates.
"Dating with a purposeful mindset is really such a contrast from what we are used to seeing in our world," the family matriarch, Michelle, explained to PEOPLE at the time. "Emotions get heated the closer you get. You're like two magnets being pulled together," she added. "You need boundaries."
In April, after months of speculation from fans, Jessa and Ben announced they are expecting their first child. So far, the couple has refrained from revealing the gender of their baby, who is due Nov. 1.
The young couple has enjoyed tossing around potential names--but noted it's not as easy as it seems. "We are so excited. We have started talking baby names," Jessa said. "It is one of those things that is so special, picking a name for a baby."
Unfortunately, "19 Kids and Counting" fans will not get to watch Jessa's pregnancy journey, as TLC announced earlier this week it was pulling the show after it emerged that Josh Duggar had molested five underage girls, including Jessa and her sister, Jill, as a young teen.
Daily Mail reports the family had already recorded an entire season's worth of material before the scandal broke into media headlines, including footage of the moments that Jessa and Ben told their families about the pregnancy.
However, even though the show has been cancelled, Duggar fans can stay updated on the family by subscribing to their newsletter.
"We appreciate the love, support, prayers and kindness extended to us by many of you," the Duggar family wrote in a blog post after learning their show had been cancelled. "You have deeply touched our hearts and encouraged us, during this time...We love each of you and look forward to unfolding the future with peace and joy."
