Director Paul Feig released several photos of the Ghostbusters reboot featuring an all-female cast led by Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon.
The remake of the '80s classic is currently being shot in Boston and is scheduled for release on July 22, 2016.
In his Twitter account @paulfeig, Feig posted pictures of the new Ecto-1, the new uniforms of the Ghostbusters, as well as the slime.
Feig also tweeted out a photo of Jones, McCarthy, Wiig, and McKinnon in front of the Ecto-1 in full uniform with each one carrying the proton packs.
On Friday, Buzz Feed released several pictures of the new Ghostbusters gang in uniform while filming.
The remake of the Ghostbusters were faced with several delays as Bill Murray refused to reprise his role in the upcoming movie, as well as the death of original ghostbusters Harold Ramis last year.
As news of the new Ghostbusters already deep into filming, not many fans were happy with the remake, particularly of casting an all-female ghostbusters.
Kevin Himpelmann, posted on his Twitter account, @KevRHim, "I wish I shared even the slightest feeling of enthusiasm for this. After wanting a new movie for so long, I really do... From the casting of McCarthy, to the constant dismissal of fans who don't like that it's a reboot as being sexist/misogynistic. Pretty much everything about this movie has turned me off. About the only thing I kind of like is Hemsworth's casting..."
Another loyal Ghostbusters fan, Mark Hearn, wrote on his Twitter, @MisterHearn, "This looks pretty good. Just not sure about the film's cast., Cast aside, I don't like it as a reboot. An all male reboot would been dumb, too. What's the point? Not excited. "
But Bonnie Burton (@bonniegrrl), disagrees and said he would watch the new Ghostbusters, "@paulfeig: OMG YES!!!!!!!!!! I'm a hardcore #Ghostbusters fan and I LOVE this!"
