National Basketball Association (NBA) Season 2014-2015 MVP Wardell Stephen "Steph" Curry of the Golden State Warriors and her beautiful wife Ayesha, are expecting to welcome a fourth member of their growing family this July.
In a report, Us Weekly cited an unnamed source who confirmed that Stephen and Ayesha are expecting their second daughter.
Curry said in a May 4 speech, "We lose, we win. When I go home, things are good, and that's comforting to know." He was also quoted as saying late last month, "I'm blessed to have a healthy baby that brings so much personality and spunk to our family. Just the way that she talks, I can communicate with her."
Indeed Curry will have his hands full when his new baby arrives. His two-year-old daughter Riley is fast becoming a fan favorite since she stole the limelight from his famous father during a post-game interview after the Golden State Warriors' defeated the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
Riley crawled through the table skirt and was picked up by Stephen to sit on his lap. Curry's daughter waved to reporters and sometimes interrupted her father who was answering questions thrown at him. Stephen was heard telling Riley to ''hold on a second, OK?'' after she said something to her father. Riley then replied ''Be quiet,'' eliciting laughter from the room.
Together with her mom Ayesha, Riley, the mother and daughter were again the focus of attention during the Golden State Warriors victory parade in Oakland. Steph was again holding that Larry O'Brien trophy, and Riley was stacking all the confetti paper thrown at her and her mother.
Ayesha told Time.com that she makes certain that Riley remains to enjoy a normal life as any child despite being a child of an NBA superstar. "I feel that the biggest thing you can do, as a parent, is to engage. You can never be too busy for your child. There should always be time for a bedtime story, impromptu playtime, or a quick game of hide-and-seek-or 'find me,' as Riley calls it. These moments with your child should never get pushed to the bottom of the list. In these moments we set the foundation for the kind of relationship we want to have with our children as they grow."
Ayesha also states that non-game days are "regimented" and both Steph and Ayesha want to insure that their daughter will still enjoy a normal "non-celebrity" life away from the arena. Since Riley has, at two years old, practically swept the world with her funny faces, it seems quite natural to put her in a position where she could do it for a living. That's right, I'm talking about a child actor! According to Hollywood Life, there was a recent poll asking "Should Stephen and Ayesha get Riley into Acting"? The results are presently 65 percent saying "no, just let her be a kid", and 35 percent saying "Yes, that would be amazing".
And if their second daughter turns out to be as cute as Riley whom fans adore, it will not be a surprise if the Curry will have their own reality TV show soon.
