Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F may have gone to Japan first, but the new English-dubbed trailer is being release ahead of the U.S. release date. American audiences will only get to see the film on August 4-12. The original Japanese-language version was released to theaters in Japan back in April.
Happily, the North American version will be widely-released in U.S. theaters. English-speaking audiences may be pleased to know that the U.S. release for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F is going to be dubbed.
Resurrection F brings back iconic villain Frieza, who is hell-bent on vengeance. This time, hero Gokku will be in the greatest fight of his life against Frieza's gold form. The upcoming film is the follow-up to the previous film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.
The next Dragon Ball Z animated feature has sparked excitement amongst longtime fans, due to fact Akira Toriyama has taken part in the film's development. Toriyama was the creative mind behind the Dragon Ball franchise.
Forbes reports that the new movie will tie in with the upcoming Dragon Ball Super TV series, which will soon debut to U.S. audiences. The TV show has already been released in Japan.
Film Promoted in Dragon Ball Z: Xenoverse DLC 3
Bandai Namco Games Entertainment is also taking part in promoting Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F. The videogame giant did this by including three characters from the film in their latest DLC Patch 3, which was released on June 9. DLC 3 is now available on all versions of Dragon Ball Z: Xenoverse.
Those include super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta - according to Attack of the Fanboy. The DLC pack also includes the characters Golden Frieza, and Jaco the Galactic Patrolman.
There are also five parallel quests and eight master quests. New accessories include Tagoma's Scouter and Turtle Hermit set. DLC 3 features seven Z-souls and 14 moves. Two additional Masters, Jaco the Galactic Patroller and Elder Kai, will be included.
The DLC 3 pack will need to be purchase separately from the game. However, Season Pass buyers will get the new DLC at no extra cost.
Last week, Steam offered 50 percent discount for Dragon Ball: Xenoverse as part of their summer sale. The offer has since then expired. Right now, buyers will need to pay the usual selling price for the game.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is playable on the on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
