A German Muslim man who converted to fight with ISIS makes the claim that the Islamic terrorist group will soon take over Europe.
"We will one day conquer Europe. We don't just want to. We will. And we are sure about that," claims Christian Emde during an interview with Jürgen Todenhöfer, a journalist who specializes in covering the ISIS situation in Syria and Iraq.
Speaking in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul with an entourage of armed and masked Muslim men in the background, the former German Protestant man wasn't afraid to proclaim that ISIS will continue to enslave and behead the group's perceived enemies, especially including Christians and Jews if they refused to pay a special protection tax. "They will all be killed," he said, referring to what would happen if they didn't pay the tax.
But the converted Muslim discussed the fact that the world's 150 million Shia Muslims would not even be given the opportunity to pay the tax, and instead would be killed immediately if they refused to "repent" and convert to the Sunni branch of Islam.
"150 million, 200 million, 500 million - we don't care about the number," he said.
Todenhöfer then asked Emde if Germans could expect an attack on their own soil. The man responded, "They should brace themselves, definitely."
This claim went right along with a video that was released on Wednesday naming Germany as a target and focus for Islamic terrorist attacks.
But despite the threats and constant attacks from Muslims worldwide, Todenhöfer claims that "99.9 percent of our fellow Muslim citizens" are merciful and don't represent the views of the German convert, now named Abu Qatadah. The journalist and interviewer calls on "moderate" Muslims to join up to ally against extremist Muslims who are contributing to the "ideological kidnapping of their great religion."
Popular Christian activist and journalist Theodore Shoebat had his own commentary on the interview, offering that "This is what happens when you become an indifferent Christian area like Western Europe: you have people converting to Islam and becoming terrorists."
Shoebat says that its the weakening of the Christian faith in Europe that is allowing these types of views to continue. "As long as Europe keeps up with its degradation of Christianity, the more it will deal with these dangerous sects."
Just hours after the interview was aired, German Chancellor Angela Merkel addressed the German parliament to declare that the country would use "all legal means" to fight "hate preachers" and other extremists, including the continued arming of Kurdish rebels fighting against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
"Hate preachers, violent delinquents who act in the name of Islam, those behind them, and the intellectual arsonists of international terrorism will be rigorously fought with all legal means at the disposal of the state," the Chancellor said.
Many Islamic jihadists turned their attention to Germany once Chancellor Merkel improved relations with Israel. In an October video released by former German citizen Abu Dauoud al-Almani, the Muslim convert called for his "brothers" in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria to rise up against the Chancellor.
"We are waiting for you," he said, prompting NATO to send more soldiers for ISIS to kill. "We have been waiting for this meeting for over 1,400 years."
