Big things are in store for the Robertson family of the hit A&E show "Duck Dynasty" this holiday season.
This past weekend, "Duck Wives" Korie Robertson, Missy Robertson and Jessica Robertson announced the partnership with high end designer Dooney & Bourke to create a limited-edition duck themed handbag--just in time for Christmas.
According to Us Weekly, new designs include a large camouflage-printed tote with natural brown leather adorned with colorful green, white and brown duck designs. The bags, which are also adorned with quaint metal buckles, will be available in select stores in the upcoming week.
"The purpose of the bag is to marry the Robertson's southern chic with classic American style," explained a Robertson representative.
The Robertson family has participated in many business endeavors to establish their family's Duck Commander brand name since the show's premiere in 2012. Family members, including Willie, Uncle Si, Phil, Korie and Sadie Robertson have all written books and sold various other Duck Commander products.
The "Duck" family also enjoys participating in the world of entertainment. Recently, Willie and Korie's daughter, Sadie, won second place on the dancing competition show "Dancing with the Stars." An upcoming off-Broadway play in Las Vegas, Nevada is also in the works highlighting the family's life.
This weekend, Korie will share her faith and give insight to her family's dedication to their beliefs despite their ever-growing fame at the Women of Faith conference in Portland, Oregon along with Sarah Jakes, T.D. Jakes's daughter, and Christian music artist Nicole Nordeman.
Meanwhile, a "Duck Dynasty" special, titled "Duck The Halls," has aired on Wednesday, December 10 at 9:30/8:30c. A video clip on A&E's website gives a recap of Christmas episode, including Willie Robertson rapping and a surprise gift for "Duck" patriarch Si and his wife, Kay.
While the Robertsons enjoy holidays filled with fun, family and food, they make sure to keep Christ at the center of Christmas.
"It's my hope to offer a meaningful snapshot of a faith-filled family Christmas," Miss Kay explained.
"While we love to have fun, especially around the holidays, we always keep our focus on the true meaning of Christmas."
"It's all about Christmas. That's when God becomes flesh," added Phil in a recent statement.
" It was 2014 years ago and we still remember Christmas. Christ and worship, [in other words] mass, [means] Christmas."
