Sadie Robertson of the hit TV show "Duck Dynasty" recently shared how her strong faith in Christ guides everything she does, from maintaining her purity until marriage to her "Dancing with the Stars" performances.
The 17-year-old model, whose book "Live Original" recently hit shelves, explained how her religious beliefs and support from boyfriend Blake Coward give her the strength to remain pure until marriage.
"My boyfriend is very supportive of me publicly displaying my decision to stay pure until marriage," Robertson told Inside Edition. "I think it's also important because as teenagers we always get "the talk" from adults...it's another thing to hear about it from somebody who's going through it with you."
Robertson shared three tips on how to stay pure:
1) Don't be home alone together
2) Stay outside of each other's bedrooms
3) Pray together before dates
If young couples follow these rules and always put God first in their relationships, success is inevitable, says Robertson.
The "Duck Dynasty" star also brought her faith into the ballroom on Monday night's "Dancing With the Stars" episode, delivering a contemporary performance that celebrated one of the Bible's most well-known and revered stories.
Robertson and dance partner Mark Ballas offered up a creative dance rendition of the Biblical story of Adam and Eve that is recounted in the book of Genesis.
"It's a pretty intense story. It's about Eve falling short into sin, but then dragging Adam down with her," Robertson said in a video package that aired before the dance. "Because it's such an iconic story and it's a message from the Bible ... I do feel pressure to make it right and do the best that I can possibly do."
And sharing their faith is something the "Duck Dynasty" clan will continue to do, says Robertson, as their beliefs have carried them through even the toughest of times.
"My family would not be where we are without our faith. That's what's carried us this whole way," she said. "You know, we put our faith in God and we like to share that with everybody"
She added, "We're going to be a family, we're going to love each other - and we're going to do what God says to do."
