Thousands are expected to attend an uplifting three-day conference led by bishop T.D. Jakes designed to help women transform their lives, overcome obstacles and maximize their potential both practically and spiritually.
The conference, titled "Woman, Thou Art Loosed," will kick off at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at Philips Arena in Atlanta with a fitness session followed by several days of financial planning, "girl talk," musical performances, and prayer.
Jakes has described the conference as "generations of women who have been touched by the power of the living God." It also serves as the 22nd anniversary celebration of Bishop Jakes' book "Woman Thou Art Loosed!"
"Don't miss this opportunity to register and celebrate with others from around the globe. If you're a woman who has overcome any obstacle or you're looking to transform your life, then Woman Thou Art Loosed is for you!" reads the conference website.
"Join us for spirit-filled worship as women throughout the world unite to honor God and pay tribute to one another during this prophetic time."
Featured speakers include a slew of heavyweights including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Christine Cane, Pastor Van Moody, Dr. Jasmin W. Sculark, Dr. Claudette Copeland, Mrs. Serita Jakes, Sarah Jakes, Dr. Michelle Callahan, Dr. Gary Chapman, Rosilyn Houston, Lee Jenkins, Lisa Williams, Natasha Stewart, Corey S. Taylor, and Mandy Hale.
"Women, Thou Art Loosed" is one of the most powerful and empowering conferences for women. It liberates women emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically," said Dr. Jasmin Sculark.
"Women should expect three things: education, empowerment and encouragement. You cannot leave without getting all three of those--and when you do, it will transform your lives. This is the season, and God has a fresh set of women in Atalanta to do something radical in their lives."
Woman Thou Art Loosed (WTAL) began in 1992 as a Sunday school curriculum developed and taught by Bishop T.D. Jakes. Today, it has transformed into a world-renowned and life-changing book, a Grammy ®-nominated album, a NAACP Award-winning film and a national conference that, for more than 10 years, has brought together thousands of women from all over the world.
Tickets for this life-changing conference are $150 per person, and may be purchased at www.tdjconferences.org.
