With FIFA 15 expected to arrive on Sept. 23 in the U.S., buyers have a variety of options for purchasing the game. All versions of FIFA 15 are available for preorder at Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop. The game will be shipped on the day of release.
There are two editions of FIFA 15 - Standard and Ultimate. The Standard Edition will be available for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, and Windows PC. In regards to price, the Standard Edition sells for $59.99.
PC gamers will need to make sure their hardware meets the minimum requirement, which is listed on the official EA help site.
The Ultimate Edition will only be compatible with the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles. Also, this version costs $10 more than the FIFA 15 Standard Edition. However, the Ultimate Edition comes with content that includes the 40 Gold Packs, Adidas All Store Team, Adidas Predator Boot Collection, Celebrations, and Lionel Messi.
Sadly, none of the major U.S. retailers have announced midnight release events for FIFA 15. It does not seem likely that such a gathering will take place on the release date. In contrast, midnight-release events have already been scheduled at retail outlets in the UK and Europe.
Fortunately, FIFA 15 publisher Electronic Arts has made an exciting offer for Xbox One owners. With a $5 per month subscription from EA Access, gamers can play the full version of FIFA 15 for up to six hours.
Optimized for next-gen consoles, FIFA 15 includes a number of new features that will enhance the realism in the game. The artificial intelligence has supposedly gotten a boost with opposing players and teammates utilizing better tactics and gameplay.
