Popular singer and music producer Pharrell Williams recently revealed that he believes in God, asserting that it's "incredibly arrogant" to deny the existence of a spiritual being.
I believe in God but I also believe in the universe...and I believe in that innate ability to make decisions and to exercise our feelings as human beings," the "Happy" singer told Stylist magazine.
"How do you see all the stars and think there's nothing else out there?" he continued.
"It's so incredible arrogant and pompous. It's amazing that there are people who really believe that. It's unbelievable."

Although N.E.R.D. star says he is "still discovering" spirituality, he wants to keep the conversation going,
"With no conversation there's no conversion," he said.
"With no conversion, there's no conviction. And with no conviction, there's only confusion. You understand what I'm saying? If you don't believe there is a change that is due to you then you will never, ever find it. Change won't come and tap you on the shoulder. You have to be open for change."
The Grammy-award winning producer also addressed the criticism he faced after writing "Blurred Lines" for Robin Thicke, a song which has been called "the most controversial the decade."
Although 'Blurred Lines' reached number one in 14 countries, including the US and UK, a number of UK universities banned the song for its misogynistic lyrics and a slew of critics, including Feminist L.A.'s Lisa Huyne, denounced it as "disgusting" and "kind of rapey."
"I'll say this: at the end of the day, you can soundbite things in the Bible and be offended. But I'm sure that's not the writers of the Bible's intentions," Williams stated concerning his involvement with the song.
"I'm clearly not comparing my song to one of the most respectful writings I've ever read...My point to you is, anything can be taken out of context."
Williams concluded: "I love women, and the last thing I want to do is degrade [them]."
