Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge is confirmed to be coming to five major U.S. carriers - namely AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Apparently, this phone is a variant of the recently launched Galaxy Note 4.
Even though the smartphone is not available for pre-order, consumers can still register for instant updates at the four mobile service providers. The Galaxy Note Edge was launched the same time as the Galaxy Note 4, shortly before IFA 2014 began.

Consumers and tech observers alike have been noticing the Samsung phone's intriguing curved edge display. However, the phone is internally similar to its Galaxy Note 4 cousin. The Galaxy Note Edge is powered by 2.7GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB RAM. Also, the device has a thinness of about 8.3mm. For snapshots, the Galaxy Note Edge has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization. It also comes installed with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
Regarding display, the mobile device has a high-resolution 5.7 inch quad HD screen with 2560x1440 resolution. Along with the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge is the latest Samsung product using the new OLED display technology.

There is no official word from Samsung regarding the Galaxy Note Edge release date. However, GottaBeMobile report seeing three Galaxy Note Edge versions that are passing through the FCC certification process. These are apparently the Bluetooth variants. The same report also stated that the standard Galaxy Note Edge had passed FCC inspection a month earlier. Due to the fact that several major carriers have confirmed their plans to sell the Galaxy Note 4, it is likely that this latest information is accurate.
Meanwhile, consumers will not start seeing the Galaxy Note 4 until at least October. Both the Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy Note 4 are expected to be competing with rival Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The two new Apple devices will be released to consumers on Friday, Sept. 19.
