The Houston Texans will play against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, September 14, during Week 2 of 2014 NFL. The Texans vs. Raiders match will go down at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, California. The game can be watched online through live stream below (free with subscription), and on CBS Television Network.

Houston's defensive player J. J. Watt almost single-handedly broke the Washington Redskins' game in Week 1 opener win 17-6. Watt finished with seven quarterback completions, one sack, one fumble recovery, one pass knocked down and one blocked PAT.

Rookie Alfred Blue blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III threw for 267 yards, but fumbled twice (losing one) in the second-half.

First overall pick Jadeveon Clowney had a tackle in the first half, but his NFL debut was cut short by a knee injury. He went out during the second quarter. According to NFL Media Insider, the linebacker tore his meniscus and is expected to miss between four to six weeks.

Running back Arian Foster made 103 rush yards in 27 carries. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had one touchdown in 14 completions out of 22 attempts with 206 pass yards. Wide receivers Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins led the team in catches.

The Raiders lost in their opener 14-19 to the New York Jets. The Jets defense shut down the Oakland's offense led by rookie quarterback Derek Carr, who finished 20 of 32 for 151 yards and touchdown passes to Rod Streater and James Jones.

After the opener, the Raiders ranked last in overall yards per game, pass yards and rush yards. What caused the Raiders to perform so poorly? Was it because the Jets defense was impenetrable or because the Raiders offensives were in shambles? If the Raiders continue to perform as it had in Week 1, they should not expect to go very far this year.

Raiders' coach Dennis Allen doesn't have much time left to prove that he can lead Oakland out of the hole. If the Raiders continue to perform as it has in Week 1, Allen would most likely lose his job, so he must somehow reorganize the franchise nearly barren of talent to achieve the impossible.

While Carr had a solid performance, the quarterback needs a roster of players who can support his plays.
