Eleven-time world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is scheduled to fight Argentine former welterweight titlist Marcos Maidana in a rematch on Saturday. The Mayweather vs. Maidana 2 is expected to receive the highest PPV rating for boxing matches this fall, as Mayweather risks his welterweight and super welterweight titles to make a conclusive statement as a undefeated boxing champion. Tonight's fight can be watched online through live stream below (free with subscription).

The fight will begin airing live on Saturday, September 13 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on SHOWTIME Pay-Per-View (PPV), where the entire event taking place at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, can be watched online.

Mayweather, 37, has had an illustrious career so far with 46 wins and 26 knockouts; Maidana, 31, has 35 wins and four losses.

In the previous fight on May 3, Maidana pushed Mayweather enough to make the match one of the toughest for the boxing champion. The only other person that had nearly beaten Mayweather was Mexican boxer Jose Luis Castillo, but Mayweather remains undefeated until now.

Maidana's trainer, Robert Garcia, said Maidana is better prepared for this fight than the last, as he only had five weeks of preparation before the last fight versus the 10 full weeks of training, which had helped him improve his conditioning, leading up to Saturday's match.

While training at Garcia's gym in Los Angeles, Maidana learned all that he needed to improve his skills and got to practice with Chris Algieri, the WBO welterweight champion, and with Mikey Garcia, Garcia's younger brother and the WBO Super featherweight champion.

According to his trainer, Maidana will continue to apply the pressure as he had done in the last, and has learned to not be excessively aggressive in the beginning rounds, but to remain calm and focused.

"We need to have a little more distance, a little more control in his punches, and we are working on that," Garcia said, according to Showtime.com. "His punches are thrown a lot more accurate, straighter punches, and our sparring partners are telling us that this time around they feel the power even harder than they did the first time."

Sabastian Contursi, Maidana's manager, said Maidana, with Garcia's lessons, will be better the second time around and will pull off the upset this time.

This rematch presented a technical challenge as the World Boxing Council has agreed to let Mayweather put his welterweight and super welterweight titles, 147 and 154 pounds, on the line, with both fighters required to make the lighter weight, according to MLive.

The last dual-weight title fight was with Ray Leonard-Donny Lalonde in 1988.

Mayweather and Maidana will be wearing 8-ounce gloves instead of the 10-ounce worn in his three 154-pound title fights, against Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

A mistake in the contract on the sizes of the glove caused some debate, but was quickly resolved, unlike the last match.

In response to this adjustment, Mayweather said he had no interest in wearing the bigger gloves because he wants to make a conclusive statement.

"I'm going for the knockout," he said, at a press conference. "I need a knockout and I'm going to make a statement."

The highly anticipated rematch will be aired live, starting 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Fans can watch the live stream by clicking here.
