With FIFA 15 coming to U.S. stores on Sept. 23, Dell is offering a pre-order savings that reduces the price by a little over forty percent. The online retailer is only selling the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Normally, the asking price for FIFA 15 is roughly $60 at Dell's online site. Under the new offer, the game comes with a $35 dollar store credit, along with free shipping from Dell.
A coupon is not required for the transaction to take place. Once the process is complete, buyers will receive an eGift promo code that they can use on their next purchase. However, there is a catch. Buyers need to use their store credit within 10 to 20 days after FIFA 15 ships.
Naturally, the Dell pre-order sale is not much in terms of price reduction. Still, the deal offers savings for FIFA 15 long before the game reaches the bargain bin. The only other economic option is to trade in a copy of FIFA 14 through retailers such as GameStop in exchange for FIFA 15 when the latter comes out in the fall. Unfortunately, not everyone has this choice.
Based on prior demos and teasers, FIFA 15 will include a number of new features that will enhance the realism in the game. The artificial intelligence has supposedly gotten a boost with opposing players and teammates utilizing better tactics and gameplay. FIFA 15 is also optimized for next-gen consoles.
Ultimately, the game will be released for next-gen consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One. It will also be available on older platforms such as the Xbox 360 and PS3 - albeit with downgraded graphics.
At the same time as the console release, EA games will launch the Windows PC version of FIFA 15 as well. Those gaming on the PC will need to make sure their hardware meets the minimum requirement, which is listed on the official EA site.
