Judging from the 2013 record, 49ers have the upper hand, but Ravens had also beaten San Francisco 18 months ago in the Super Bowl XLVII. The teams have engaged in joint practice at Raven's home stadium since Aug. 5.
The joint practices between teams have become a trend among coaches, who wanted to break the monotony of training camp, raise the level of intensity and competition, and get a better evaluation of their players.
Thirteen NFL teams are taking part in joint practices this summer.
