Kevin Love is interested in playing with Lebron James.

Cleveland is not taking Lebron James for granted this time around, and they are trying to surround him with the best players they can to win a championship.  That includes trying to pick-up Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and it's being rumored they are willing to give up Andrew Wiggins to get the deal done.

While nothing is set yet, USA Today is reporting that a source close to the deal has acknowledged that Cleveland is coming off their attempt to draw Love away from the T'wolves some other way.

Minnesota has been determined that any deal with the Cavs for Love include Wiggins. Cleveland has tried everything not to include the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft in trade talks. It remains unclear what else the T'wolves would want in a trade and whether that will be enough to get a deal done, but now that the Cavs will include Wiggins, the deal should get done.

The Cavs chose Andrew Wiggins 1st in this years draft.

Lately, a possible deal for Love has come down to the Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.  The Timberwolves have let the Warriors know that any deal for Love would have to see Klay Thompson heading to Minnesota, and the Warriors have not wanted to make that move.  Thompson has fit in well with Steph Curry in Golden State, and apparently do not value Love enough to monkey with the good team chemistry they have going.

Love is coming off his best year yet, averaging 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds a game.  He can opt out of his contract after this season, meaning the Cavaliers are going to want him to give them some kind of guarantee that he won't be leaving at the end of the next year. That free agency cluase also puts pressure on the T'wolves to trade him before losing him for nothing next year, if they can't get a deal done with someone this year.
