In Matthew 24:9, Christ tells His followers that those obey His commands will be persecuted and hated by many people for doing so.
Earlier this month, this truth became sadly apparent, when an intern for pro-life group Created Equal was physically and verbally abused when holding a poster emblazoned with the image of a detailed fetus at 12 weeks in Columbus, Ohio.
Pro-life activist Seth Drayer, who is director of training at Created Equal and the youth minister at Trinity Evangelical church, told Fox News that he was filming an intern named Ian holding the poster when a woman named Victoria Duran accosted him.
"This is absolutely f**king lying, you f**king dips**t. That is not what a fetus looks like," said the woman in the video which was posted to Created Equal's YouTube account. "It's a clip of cells for 12 weeks, it does not look like that."
"No hands are shown during that time. You're just a white f**king privileged racist f**king male that doesn't stand for women's rights. Get the f**k outta here," she scream in his face before kicking down the poster.
During her tirade, the woman attempts to slap away the camera, telling Drayer to get it out of her face. Drayer threatened to call the police after the woman began knocking down other group member's posters.
"You don't give a s**t about women and you don't give a s**t about life. All you are is a bunch of f**king a**holes," she said before she is shown screaming at Drayer: "No uterus, no right to talk about it. Understand me motherf**er?"
"I was alarmed for my safety of myself and my team," Drayer told WSYX, adding he was "concerned about what was going through the woman's mind who stopped."
However, Created Equal says they will continue to spread their message despite possible repercussions.
"We understand the risk we take each time we go into the marketplace of ideas with a message as counter-cultural as showing the victims of abortion," Created Equal Executive Director Mark Harrington told LifeNews, adding that "despite the threat we will not shrink back from representing the victims."
The Blaze reports that the woman was issued a summons to appear in court on misdemeanor charges of assault and criminal damaging.
However, the Created Equal group are seemingly uninterested in retaliating, and are instead encouraging viewers to pray for the woman's soul.
"On July 9 Created Equal's team downtown was met with verbal and physical abuse by one passerby," the team wrote on their YouTube account.
"Please pray for this young woman."
