The BET Awards have invited Yolanda Adams as a representative of the Black-American's faith communities to lead worship and sing praise songs to God; Moreover, the BET Lifetime Achievement Award was presented last year to R'n'B legend Charlie Wilson, who is well-known for his born-again faith, in 2013 BET Awards.
Including Adams, this year's lineup of performances features Lil Wayne, Pharrel Williams, Usher Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Jhene Aiko, Ledisi, Iggy Azalea, T.I., John Legend, Robin Thicke, Gabi Wilson, Adiran Marcel, August Alsina and Jennifer Hudson.
Aside from the performances, comedian and actor Chris Rock will host the awards ceremony, which is bound to give viewers a belly-full of laughters, and music fans will get to find out who the winners are of this year's BET Awards for the categories of music, movies, sports, and more.
