Spain vs. Chile 2014 FIFA World Cup match will kick off Wednesday at 12 p.m. PT or 3 p.m. ET and fans can watch the highly anticipated game online at ESPN via live stream free on June 18, 2014.
Spain's coach Vicente del Bosque is expected to make changes after the surprising 5-1 defeat by Netherlands, and Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli will continue with the current line-up that defeated Australia coming. Spain vs. Holland game will be played at the Maracana in Rio De Janeiro.
Spain, the defending World Cup champion, will be eliminated if they lose to Chile on Wednesday.
Sampaoli said he expects that the Spanish players will play at a much higher caliber than they did against the Netherlands, for they are "very experienced and very mature."
"I think they will be difficult to beat. Don't forget they're one of the best teams in the world. I'm sure the game will be quite different because Spain are really strong and I'm pretty sure the Spain coach will have some sort of strategy for tomorrow."
Spain's Fernando Torres said on Tuesday that Spain are prepared to abandon their attractive playing style, namely the tiki-taka, in order to win.
"If we can't win like that, we have to win anyway, because otherwise we'll have to go back home. All that's important tomorrow (Wednesday) is that Spain play and win," the Chelsea striker told reporters at a press conference in Rio de Janeiro, according to FIFA.com.
Of course, Spain are not underestimating their opponent Chile, and considers them as "dangerous." However, they will not consider defeat as an option, but will strive to win one game at a time.
"We want to win against Chile and after we'll think about the next game," said Torres. "Since we lost against the Netherlands, the only thing we've thought about is winning against Chile."
