It appears controversial music rockstar Marilyn Manson will be joining the 'Sons of Anarchy' (SOA) cast lineup in time for Season Seven, which happens to be the last season of the original FX original series.
News broke out over the web after FX's Vice President of Media Relations, Dominic Pagon, tweeted on last Tuesday that Manson will take on a recurring role in the series.
"'Sons' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," Manson said in a recent report on Variety. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of 'SOA' is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."
Manson will star as white supremacist Ron Tully who is behind bars, but is still very much in charge of activities outside of prison. In a bid to further his ambitions in the criminal motorcycle underworld, protagonist Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) becomes increasingly reliant on Tully's greater influence - though plot details remain sketchy at this moment.
This is not Manson's first foray into television. Often wearing bizarre-makeup in public, Manson donned roller-skates and went makeup-less for a brief cameo in HBO's 'Eastbound and Down'. Manson also provided voice-acting talent on ABC's fairytale drama, 'Once Upon a Time'.
'Sons of Anarchy' Season Seven will premiere on the FX channel this coming September 2014. The exact airing date remains unconfirmed, but the show will continue at the Tuesday 10pm EST timeslot.
