The Mavs beat the Spurs in an upset 113-92 win on Wednesday, and outscored Spurs in every quarter. Dallas' Devin Harris was the top scorer - ahead of Dirk Nowitzki - heading into Game 3. And Game 2 was his first career playoff start.
"He's been great," Nowitzki said, according to NBA.com. "He's a big key for us off the bench. We don't have a lot of penetrators out there. He's been great on both ends of the floor."
Mavs' other penetrating guard Monta Ellis has been helping to carry the weight of the offensive and to drive into the paint.
