Today's game will be the first time that the Stanley Cup Playoffs are ever held in Nationwide Arena. Each of the opposing teams has one win in this Eastern Conference First Round series, and the Blue Jackets will attempt to get this second win through the support of fans on their home-court.
In Game 1, Blue Jackets led 3-1 in the second period, but gave up two quick goals, ending up with a 4-3 loss to Penguins. Forward Derek MacKenzie scored a goal and Brandon Dubinsky assisted on Jack Johnson's goal.
In Game 2, Blue Jackets rallied from a 3-1 deficit on Saturday to beat the Penguins 4-3 in overtime. The Penguins scored at a low rate of 1-for-8.
