No.8 University of Kentucky will play No.7 UConn in Monday's NCAA College Basketball title game, after the Huskies upset top-seeded Florida 63-53 in a national semifinal Saturday. The March Madness Title Game will be broadcasted today, April 7, 2014 at 9:10p.m. ET on CBS TV.
Kentucky and Connecticut will be the highest seed total to play for the NCAA Championship Game since they started putting numbers by the names back in 1979. The previous high was third-seeded UConn beat eighth-seeded Butler for the 2011 title.

Another game-winning shot from UK freshman Aaron Harrison in the Final Four against the Wisconsin Badgers, the Kentucky Wildcats will have the first all-freshman starting lineup in an NCAA title game since Michigan's Fab Five in 1992.
Harrison took a pass from his twin brother, Andrew, spotted up from NBA range and watched the ball rattle in for the lead with 5.7 seconds left Saturday night to lift the Wildcats to a 74-73 victory over Wisconsin in the semifinal.
The Huskies were impressive on offense, beating the overall No. 1 seed Florida in Final Four. DeAndre Daniels had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Connecticut while Napier finished with 12 points and six assists.
The Gators came in having won 30 straight games, a streak that started after a loss to the Huskies four months ago.
Connecticut was ineligible last season because of academic issues. Shabazz Napier, Niels Giffey and Tyler Olander all were part of the Huskies' national championship season in 2011.
Kentucky hasn't lost an NCAA tournament game since losing to Connecticut in the 2011 semifinals. The Wildcats won the national title in 2012, and are 15-1 in the NCAA tournament over their past three appearances.
