AT&T confirms that Andriod 4.4 KitKat upgrade is now available for Samsung Galaxy S4 owners, following the footsteps of Sprint and U.S. Cellular.
The Andriod 4.4 update adds compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy Gear as well as the ability to drag and drop to uninstall or disable applications.
AT&T customers will receive an alert and be prompted to download the update, or have the option to initiate the update manually. When prompted, you can postpone the update up to 3 times, and 4 hours per occurrence. After the update has been postponed for the maximum allowable time, your device will automatically download and install the update.
T-Mobile and Verizon still have no words about the Andriod 4.4 update, Verizon is known for taking much longer than other U.S. carriers for the system update, but we expect it will be coming in the next couple of weeks.
