AMC's "The Walking Dead" midseason premiere Sunday, February 9 at 9 p.m. EST. The episode titled "After," will mainly follow three characters.
The synopsis for the new episode reads, "As the survivors of the prison assault try to regroup, Rick and Carl stumble upon a vacant house in the forest. Meanwhile, Daryl and Beth realize they are being watched by a Group of Bandits Named "The Hunters", and a new threat begins to emerge."
In the midseason finale in December, we see the Governor and Hershel both killed, the prison sanctuary demolished, the entire show re-set. In the remaining episodes, fans are going to see some new characters from the comics, including Abraham and Rosita and Eugen.
Walking Dead exec producer Robert Kirkman talked about these new characters to Entertainment Weekly, "they really are going to add a very interesting and very compelling dynamic to the show...I'm always very excited at how much this show evolves over time and changes season to season and these three characters are agent that very much changes the story and very much changes the direction of the show to a certain extent."
