Justin Bieber unavoidably became the hottest topic of Twitter following his DUI arrest and the release of his mugshot on Thursday. The pop star was arrested outside a residential area in Miami Beach for driving his yellow Lamborghini 55 to 60 mph in a 30 mph zone. Police reports state that Bieber tried to resist arrest and had bloodshot eyes along with odor that reeked of alcohol.
Music manager, Scooter Braun, expressed support for his client on Twitter saying, "@justinbieber love you and i will act in the manner of someone who truly cares. that is all I have to say. thanks for all those concerned."
The manager opened up to The Hollywood Reporter back in November 2013 about his deteriorating relationship with his client, mentioning how as Bieber grew older, he became harder to control.
"When Justin was younger, it was, 'Keep him out of trouble, stop him from falling down, protect him as much as you can from anything that can hurt him,'" Braun shared. "When I try to do that now, he's resentful, he pushes away and rebels."
"I saw the rebellion, I saw our relationship being hurt," Braun continued. "We were struggling in talking to each other because I wasn't having conversations about anything good anymore. It was constantly calling to say, 'No!'"
TV personality Ellen DeGeneres voiced her concerns over the pop star via Twitter.
"It's hard to hear all this news about @JustinBieber. I hope he makes his way to adulthood without him or anyone else getting hurt."
Rainn Wilson, actor from the completed tv show The Office, humorously quipped at the recent news on his Twitter account, sarcastically nodding at Bieber's recent wild behaviors.
"Im starting to miss the young, adorable mop bucket peeing, house egging & strip club raging Bieber of 2013. #belieber #DUIeber."
Former NFL stars Keyshaun Johnson and Eric Dickerson voiced out their approval on Twitter following Bieber's arrest.
"They finally caught HIM! Glad no one was hurt, no kids in the street. Everyone grows up at some point. Hopefully he learns from it," Johnson wrote.
"It's about time!" Dickerson happily exclaimed. "Nobody's above the law!"
The two football players live in Bieber's LA neighborhood and took issue with his reckless driving back in August. Keyshaun Johnson chased down Bieber in their gated community in an effort to protect his children.
"You got a 19-year-old kid feeling entitled, speeding up and down the highway," Johnson said at the time of the incident. "That's why all the neighbors is mad," Johnson said. "Then you got him spitting on people in the neighborhood. You can't do that. That's not the way it's supposed to be."
Bieber was released on Thursday afternoon, where Judge Joseph. P Farina held him on a $2,500 bond. Hours after his release, Bieber posted a picture on Instagram of him waving at his fans outside the courthouse alongside a picture of Michael Jackson doing the same thing after he pleaded not guilty for child molestation charges. The caption under the picture read, "What more can I say," an allusion to a Jay Z song from 2003's The Black Album.
