It has been a long wait for the Samsung mobile users to get the Android 4.4 KitKat updates, so far the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition is the only Samsung device running Android 4.4.
Many manufacturers like HTC, Sony and LG had announced Android 4.4 update dates last year. But there is still no word from the Korean manufacturer, which left millions of Galaxy S4, S3, Note 3 and Note 2 users in the dark.
According to the timeline leaked by iTechAddict, Galaxy S4 and Note 3 will get update in January while Galaxy S3 and Note 2 will get the 4.4 update on March to April. Meanwhile, French carrier SFR announced that it would begin Android 4.4 rollouts for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 in late January.
The roll out of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has been completed for the S3 and Note 2 users which provided compatibility with the Galaxy Gear smart watch and the Samsung KNOX.
Although Samsung has not confirmed any KitKat update news, it is reasonably to expect that it will be coming soon.
