Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears game takes place on Sunday morning at the Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, as the NFL proceeds into week 2 of the regular season. Viking's running back and devout Christian Adrian Peterson, 2012 MVP, had one of his 10 trips over the 100-yard mark last season against the Chicago Bears. Since recovering from his knee surgery last season, he has rushed a 93-yard last Sunday against the Lions.
"We kind of got beat up a little bit up front, and we didn't really execute," Peterson said, according to ESPN. "When I was able to hit the tape, that was the biggest thing. It's something we're trying to put behind us."
Peterson commented on Bear's defense and his confidence to be able to get back on track in carrying past 100-yard mark for this season.
"They've got good tackles, but they're not Detroit up front," he said. "Not to take anything away from those guys - Julius Peppers and those guys are great players as well. We've got to go out, be physical and make our presence felt."
