The FedEx Cup Playoffs begin with The Barclays continues Friday and the second-round schedule got thrown off due to weather, leading to some late afternoon tee times. The opening round was delayed for six hours on Thursday.
The opening round on Friday will resume at 7 a.m. on Friday, followed by the second round beginning at 9:30 a.m. The morning wave tee times will continue to 11:20 a.m., then the afternoon wave will begin at 2:15 p.m., ending at exactly 3:54 p.m.
Phil Mickelson will be among the players back on the course in the morning. He made it through six holes before play was suspended, meaning he will play 30 holes on Friday if weather permits. Mickelson, who is paired with Bill Haas and Billy Horschel, will begin the second round at 10:36 a.m.
Tiger Woods was able to complete his first round and fired a 4-under 67. He'll be paired with Brandt Snedeker and Matt Kuchar again on Friday and the three are scheduled to tee off at 3:21 p.m.
The Barclays tournament serves as the launching point for the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup playoffs, it will conclude in three weeks with the Tour Championship. The best golfers in the world will be gathering at the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City to compete for a $10 million bonus.
