The second week of the 2013 NFL Preseason schedule continues on Sunday, August 18 and we will see the Indianapolis Colts travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the NY Giants. The kickoff time is 7:00 PM ET and it will be broadcast nationally on FOX.
The Giants and Indianapolis Colts meet for the 12th time in the preseason. The Colts lead the preseason series, 6-5. In the regular season, the Giants and Colts have met 14 times, with the Colts leading the series 8-6.
The Giants rookie offensive lineman Justin Pugh and veteran defensive lineman Justin Tuck are expected to play against the Colts.
Last week, the Colts got blasted by the Bills 44-20. Chuck Pagano only let Andrew Luck play in two series, and the Colts failed to score on either one. Pagano said they would love to get Andrew Luck in a two minute drill at the end of the half. Ultimately, however, it depends more on number of plays than quarters or drives, and Pagano said roughly 25-30 plays is the estimate for the starters on Sunday.
