Last night episode focused on a surprise wedding-vow renewal ceremony for Phil and Kay Robertson at their 49th anniversary. It also introduces the newest character in the cast, Alan Robertson, the beardless brother.

The wives team up and hold a meeting to plan the surprise wedding ceremony, while Si needs to distract Phil and Kay and bring them to their memory lane.
Phil and Kay's yard has been transformed into an outdoor wonderland for the ceremony, and the group is dressed to the nines as Si pulls up with the happy couple.
Phil and Kay are both touched by the surprise. During the ceremony, Jase's wife Missy sings as Kay walks down the aisle.
Alan officiates as the pair exchange personal vows. Kay begins reciting her own vows. "From the time I was 14-years-old, I loved you," she tells Phil. "I loved you when we were poor, and you were not so nice. Now you're really nice and kind, and all I can say is I'm not going anywhere. I will love you forever."
Then it is Phil's vows. "We been running together since we were teenagers," he tells Kay. "You have cooked me many a good meal; from your loins came four healthy, godly men; you are my best friend, and I love you dearly. And I'm gonna be with you for the long haul, 'til the put me in the ground. Good?"
The ceremony concludes with the family praying together.
“Duck Dynasty” outdrew every other show on television Wednesday night, and it was also No. 1 on social media.
"Thanks to its authentic and engaging characters Duck Dynasty has become more than just a reality show, it is a cultural phenomenon," A&E general manager David McKillop says in a statement accompanying the ratings announcement. "We would like to thank the Robertsons for their incredible partnership. We are all happy, happy, happy."
