As everyone knows, Desiree Hartsock got engaged to Chris Siegfried during the Monday show's finale and she is no longer a Bachelorette.
During the show’s final ceremony, she handed a rose to Chris Siegfried, who then proposed marriage.
Siegfried said during his proposal, "You make me want to be a better person, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you… Desiree Hartsock, I want to be your first, and I want to be your last. Will you marry me?”
During an appearance on Good Morning America, Hartsock said, "I will marry him tomorrow if I could. When I knew, I just knew."
She also spoke of Brooks Forester, who left the show unexpectedly during the first part of the two-week finale.
"Sometimes you have to get through the hard to get to the good. I think that helped me, getting past the hurt of Brooks leaving and being able to see all that was clear in Chris."
Hartsock, a bridal stylist, has big plans for her wedding day.
"I will definitely design my own wedding gown," she said, and has plans to design her own bridal collection and jewelry line.
Hartsock will soon move to Seattle to be with Siegfried and the happy couple would like to have their wedding next summer, preferably keep it small with a close-knit group of family and friends.
