Update 3:Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton's first baby was born today at 4:24 pm local time in London's private St. Mary's Hospital, the palace announced, adding that the baby weighed 8.6 pounds, and boy's father was present for his arrival.

Update 2: After weeks of eager expectations, Kate Middleton was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital early Monday morning after arriving in a private car with her husband, Prince William.
The couple's spokesman said "things are progressing as normal," according to AP, and Sky News royal correspondent said the Duchess' condition had been described as "very well."
Update 1: It is now unclear whether Kate Middleton ever left her parents' house for St. Mary Hospital in London, according to The Cut. Police are reportedly still patrolling her parents' neighborhood, and it may be false rumors. If it is true, the Duchess of Cambridge may not be in labor yet.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have abruptly departed Middleton's parents home in English countryside Bucklebury for London, a signal to the world of the imminent birth of the Royal Baby; however, whether they went straight to St. Mary’s hospital so Middleton can give birth or back home to Kensington Palace, the whereabouts of Duke and Duchess are unclear.
According to the Sunday People, the Queen “has put a high-speed helicopter on standby to whisk Prince William to Kate’s bedside when goes into labour.”

Hundreds of fans, journalists, photographers and technicians have setup shop in front of the hospital to await Kate and her firstborn’s arrival.
Meanwhile, Richard Palmer, royal correspondent for Britain's Daily Express, who has been waiting outside of the hospital, told Celebuzz that some have camped there as early as July 1, and some have grown impatient, doubting the actual royal baby due date and place of birth.
The palace has never confirmed a due date for the Duchess of Cambridge, though many outlets have thrown out certain dates like July 11th, July 13th, July 19th (today) and July 23rd. Her Royal Highness told a well-wisher in Glasgow that she was due "mid-July."
"A small number of staff at St Mary’s who might be called upon when the Duchess gives birth were told they had to remain teetotal for a month before the due date," Palmer said, adding that "they were told the due date was July 19."
The new baby will be third in line to the throne, after Prince Charles and Prince William himself.
