Yonggi Cho, founder of world’s largest church in Korea, sent his words of prayer-full blessings and support to Singapore City Harvest Church senior pastor Kong Hee.
“We are all praying for your total victory in your time of trial. We pray that our God will be your mighty defense and your rearguard,” Cho said in a video recording, calling Kong Hee a friend, colleague and “Church Growth International” board member, in the greeting posted in April.
The Singaporean pastor is now facing trial with six of his church’s executive board over allegations of their misappropriation of church funds in a “sham investment.” The alleged six leaders of CHC have maintained their innocent position as the trial began Wednesday.
“We pray that all will work together for your good and for the glory of God. We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will give you the supernatural gift and fruit of faith, perfect love, power and a strong, clear mind,” said Cho, whose church has more than 800,000 members who attended services at twenty-one churches.
Cho said in conclusion, “Kong Hee, stand strong and expect a miracle to be done in your life through power of our Lord Jesus Christ. I love you, bye.”
