Donald Trump fired Omarosa on Sunday’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice, ending her eight year stardom in the hit reality TV series. Meanwhile, Omarosa said she has found her calling to do missionary work in Africa.
“I adore you,” Trump told the reality star in the boardroom. “We’ve had tremendous success together.” But the real estate mogul added, “But Omarosa, you’re fired.”
Omarosa Manigault, 39, rose to fame as the bad girl on the original season of The Apprentice in 2004.
Last Tuesday, Omarosa talks with Oprah Winfrey for an episode of Where Are They Now? and recounts how her life has changed since first appearing on The Apprentice eight years ago.
“I went from being anonymous to being famous overnight. I did 10 reality shows in one year. I did a stint on soap operas, and I did a couple of scripted shows,” she said, according to USA Today.
Omarosa said she was labeled as the “greatest reality TV villain of all time…It didn’t define who I was. I was always bigger than my reality TV character.”
Omarosa’s love actor Michael Duncan died in September. She said when she realized that Duncan wasn’t breathing in the middle of the night, she started praying while doing CPR and calling 911.
“I just started praying. I mean I prayed like I have never prayed before. We were able to get him – his heart started again, breathing again and we got him to the best hospital and he fought. After two months of fighting, he passed away.”
The former Apprentice celebrity told Oprah she has also recently found her calling to do missionary work in Africa.
